Just a little taste of Taiwan

Taiwan was supposed to be a longer stop on my journey, but sometimes travel plans change at the last minute! I ended up deciding quite spontaneously to fly to the Philippines earlier than planned, which meant I only had one day to spend in Kaohsiung. I guess Taiwan will have to wait for another adventure!

Still, I managed to do something quite exciting while I was there: I bought myself a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro! It was considerably cheaper than back in Europe, so at least I made the most of my short visit in a rather unexpected way.

In the evening, I wandered around the city with my camera, taking photos during the blue hour and enjoying the atmosphere. There was already something distinctly subtropical about the place, with the warm air, the streets, and that familiar feeling that reminded me of my previous travels through Asia.

It was only a tiny glimpse of Taiwan, and definitely not enough to really discover the country. But I enjoyed those few hours, and I'm sure I'll be back someday to explore much more of it!
