I took a winter trip to Lake St. Anna and the Red Lake, two places in Romania I had wanted to see in colder weather. Both lakes were completely frozen, covered in snow, and surrounded by tall, quiet forests. The stillness in the air made everything feel even more frozen in time.
I spent the day taking photos of the snowy trees, their shapes softened by frost and silence. The frozen lakes added a calm, open space to the scenes, like white mirrors tucked between the woods. I walked slowly, letting the cold air and soft light guide me, stopping often to frame small details. It was a quiet, peaceful day, and a beautiful way to see those two places.
