Going again to Cabana Sâmbăta in the Făgăraș Mountains, this time I was lucky with the weather. At night, the sky was almost clear, with passing clouds, full of stars, and the silhouette of the mountains stood quietly in the background. I spent a long time outside, taking photos under the cold sky, with just the sound of the snow crunching beneath my boots and the mountains quietly watching in the dark.
The next day, the wind picked up, and snow started dancing through the trees. Light filtered through the forest, catching the snowflakes mid-air and creating this almost magical atmosphere. I took more photos then, trying to follow the movement of the snow and light. It was the kind of day that reminded me how alive and ever-changing the mountains can be.
