Our trip to the Cozia Mountains was all about catching the magic of autumn. Four of us packed our backpacks and headed out, hoping to see the forest dressed in fall colors. The first day welcomed us with rain and fog, but for me, a landscape photographer, it couldn’t have been better. The mist curled through the trees, softening everything, and the colors of the wet leaves looked even deeper. We hiked through that dreamy, moody landscape and reached Cabana Cozia by the evening, where we warmed up, shared stories, and dried our gear.
The next morning, everything changed. The fog had lifted, and the sun came out, lighting up the forest in warm golds and oranges. The trail down was a whole new experience... brighter, vibrant, and full of those peaceful, crisp autumn vibes. We took our time, soaking in every view, every crunch of leaves underfoot. It felt like fall was showing us two of its faces, and we were lucky enough to enjoy both.
