After almost five months away, stepping foot in Europe felt surreal. The air was crisp, familiar, grounding. But there was no time to settle in—because just like that, I was off to a lovely Zouk event, featuring none other than Xandy. What made it even more special was that it was organized by my dear friend Daniel, someone who always pours his heart into creating beautiful dance experiences.
There were actually a lot of people I didn’t know, so despite being “back home,” the environment wasn’t entirely familiar. But that made it even more interesting—new faces, new energies, and a fresh dynamic to explore. It was a soft re-entry into the European Zouk scene, and even though I didn’t feel fully grounded yet, the music and movement slowly brought me back into rhythm.
