Even though the Rio Zouk Congress was much smaller than usual due to the pandemic, for me it meant everything. After 9 years of dreaming about this moment, I was finally there — dancing at the most iconic Zouk event in Brazil. It didn’t matter that it wasn’t as big or crowded as in the past. Just being part of it felt surreal.
What made it even more special was sharing the experience with Connie, a dear friend from Denmark, who stayed with me in Rio. It was so lovely having her there — laughing, dancing, and soaking in the energy of the city together.
This event was more than a festival for me — it was a dream come true, a milestone, and a memory I’ll always carry with me.
