The road to somewhere new

Sometimes life surprises you with experiences you never saw coming. This trip was definitely one of them. It wasn't something I had planned or even imagined, but somehow, it happened, and it turned into one of the most beautiful surprises of the year.

This road trip took me through Romania in autumn, exploring the mountains of Retezat and Parâng, the beautiful Nera Valley, the landscapes around Băile Herculane, and the winding roads along the Danube Gorge. It was such a lovely way to experience these places, surrounded by autumn colors, beautiful scenery, and good company.

What I loved most was the freedom of it all. Spending the day hiking in the mountains, then coming back to our little home on wheels, with nature right outside the door. No rushing to get somewhere, no long drives back to accommodation, just the freedom to stop, stay, and enjoy wherever we found ourselves.

It was an unforgettable first experience, and something tells me it was only the beginning of many more adventures on the road.
