Where the Name Became the View
I went to Belo Horizonte, and just like the name promises, I found myself standing on a hill, looking out at one amazingly beautiful horizon. The city unfolded in front of me as the sun began to set, painting everything in soft golden light.
In that moment, the name “Belo Horizonte” (beautiful horizon) made perfect sense. It wasn’t just a name. It was exactly what I was seeing and feeling.
