I had an amazing time in Brasilia, discovering how completely different it was from Rio, São Paulo, or any other Brazilian city I’d seen. It was open, organized, and surprisingly modern, filled with bold architecture and a sense of quiet design.
After that, I made it to the northeastern coast of Brazil for the first time, landing in Fortaleza, and that’s where I felt my love for these places started growing more and more. Everything felt alive: the heat, the energy, the people. While the south was still in winter, here it was full summer... sun-soaked days, warm nights, and a rhythm I instantly connected with.
That trip made me fall even more in love with Brazil and South America. It didn’t feel like I was just passing through anymore... it felt like I was beginning to belong.
