Next on my California adventure, I made my way to Las Vegas. Just one day before, I caught a cold that hit me hard. I was feeling pretty sick, with a stuffy nose and low energy, but I didn’t want that to stop me from exploring a place I had dreamed of seeing since I was a kid.
Even though the cold was strong, I pushed myself to go out and experience the crazy energy of the Vegas Strip. The lights were blinding, the streets alive with people, and every corner looked like a movie scene I had seen growing up. I wandered through the neon chaos, camera in hand, capturing the surreal vibe of the city at night.
I stepped into a few casinos, just to see what they were like... the sound of slot machines, the bright colors, the feeling that anything could happen. It was awesome. I realized this is really a great place to visit with friends, have fun, and… ideally set a budget in advance.
Vegas felt like the embodiment of everything I imagined as a kid: bold, loud, over-the-top, and unforgettable.
