Beautiful city in the heart of the Black Forest

One weekend while I was living in Germany during the pandemic, we took a little trip to Freiburg im Breisgau. I went with the friend I was staying with and a few of his close people including his brother. It was a small group, and just a really nice vibe overall.

Freiburg had such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The old town was charming, full of colorful buildings, narrow streets, and little water channels running through it. We walked around, explored, and just took our time enjoying the city.

It wasn’t a big trip or anything fancy, but it felt special. After so much stillness and isolation, it was good to be out, seeing new places with good company.
