Zouktime in Croatia hit differently this time. Unlike the earlier festivals in my journey, this one felt like a reunion. More and more familiar faces, warm hugs, and shared smiles—each day layered with connections I had made along the way.
What once felt new was now infused with familiarity. Friends I had met just weeks or months before were suddenly everywhere—on the dance floor, in workshops, during sunset chats by the sea. The energy was vibrant, but also comforting, like coming back to something you didn’t know you missed until you had it again.
The dancing, as always, was amazing—but it was the people that made it. The way the Zouk world kept shrinking, in the best possible way, wrapping me in this growing web of friendship and joy.
