After the big energy of Chicago, I made my way to a smaller, more intimate event in New York—organized by my dear friend Brandon, someone I’ve known for many years.
The guest of honor was Arthur, a Brazilian teacher whose presence brought that unmistakable Brazilian flavor to the room.
Though the event was small, the vibes were big. It was the kind of weekend where you get to actually talk, connect, and dance with almost everyone. A refreshing pause in the middle of a busy tour—and one I’ll always remember for the warmth and closeness it brought.
