The End of the World is a cozy place…

At the end of September I made it to Ushuaia, a town in Argentina regarded as the southernmost city in the world.

Often referred to as the "End of the World”, it has a population of around 75,000 people and serves as a key point for Antarctic expeditions. The city has a rich history, with influences from indigenous cultures and European settlers.

Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, towering mountains and stunning fjords, it reminded me of Norway, one of my favorite countries in the world. There’s something unmatched about the beauty of these subpolar regions.

Situated in the Southern Hemisphere, I arrived just in time to catch the end of the winter. Even though lately I've been avoiding cold weather, the surroundings made me feel unexpectedly at home in this faraway place..

Wandering through this part of the world, I felt a captivating vibe in the atmosphere that inspires curiosity and a desire for adventure.

One day I hope to be back..
