During our trip to Malta, we were surprised to find ourselves caught in some pretty rainy weather, something that’s quite rare for an island known for being sunny almost all year round. Despite the grey skies and scattered showers, we kept our adventurous spirit and continued exploring the island.
One of the most memorable stops was St. Peter’s Pool, a natural rocky bay known for its unique formations and crystal-clear water. Even without the typical sunshine, the landscape was breathtaking. The dramatic sky actually added a special mood to the whole place, making it feel raw and cinematic.
I was completely captivated by the textures of the rocks, the movement of the waves against the curved stone, and the untouched beauty of the shore. It felt almost like stepping onto another planet... wild, peaceful, and mysterious all at once. I took my time taking photos, trying to capture that feeling and those rare colors.
At that moment, the rainy weather didn’t matter anymore. Being there, surrounded by that strange beauty, with the sea stretching out in front of us, was one of the highlights of the trip. Those images I captured at St. Peter’s Pool still feel special to me, both for the scenery and for how different the whole experience was from what I expected in Malta.
