In August, I had the chance to experience the Festa Major de Gràcia, one of Barcelona’s most colorful and beloved neighborhood festivals. I went there in the evening, when the streets were full of life, lights, and music.
Each street in Gràcia was decorated with an incredible level of creativity: themes ranging from fantasy forests to underwater worlds, all handmade by the neighbors. It felt like walking through an open-air art gallery, but with food stands, live music, and a joyful, local vibe.
The atmosphere was electric, but also warm and welcoming. I wandered around with a big smile on my face, taking photos, tasting food, and enjoying the unique character of the neighborhood. It was one of those nights that reminded me why I love living in Barcelona.
