Rio Zouk Congress — my second edition — felt like stepping into something grand and unforgettable. This time, the event returned to its classic venue in Tijuca, far bigger and more vibrant than the previous year, which had been a smaller, more intimate version held at Renata Pecanha’s school due to the pandemic. Now, without masks and with people from all over gathering again, it felt like a celebration of reconnection and shared passion.
I was genuinely amazed by the size of it — I’d guess there were over 600 people dancing, learning, and flowing together. The night parties were held in one massive hall, where the music echoed through the space and everyone seemed to move as one. The atmosphere was electric, with people fully immersed, dancing deep into the night with smiles, sweat, and soul.
This event has always held a special place in my heart, and I could feel that more than ever. I found myself constantly pausing to take it all in, acknowledging every moment with gratitude — just being there, surrounded by this beautiful energy, felt like something I never wanted to take for granted.
