At the beginning of April, not long after moving to Barcelona, I made my way up the coast to visit Costa Brava — a place I had heard so much about and couldn’t wait to see for myself. I firstly visited Blanes and Lloret de Mar, two coastal towns full of charm and dramatic views.
Even though it was still cold, with that lingering early spring breeze, the sun was shining and the landscapes were breathtaking. Rocky cliffs, turquoise waters, and hidden coves created a picture-perfect scene everywhere I looked.
I walked along the coastal paths, took in the salty air, and felt a quiet joy just being there — far from the city, surrounded by nature and sea. It was my first real taste of Costa Brava, and it definitely lived up to the stories.
