ZoukTime!

After three editions of WestZoukTime, this was my first ZoukTime festival in Brno (only Zouk!) - one to remember. Everything felt familiar, like stepping into a space where everyone spoke the same language without needing words. The venue, Babylon, had this cool energy, and it didn’t take long before the dance floor was full of smiles, connection, and movement.

I was just happy to be there, surrounded by dear friends, sharing dances that flowed late into the night. Some friends I hadn’t seen in a while, others I had met just recently, but the vibe was effortless and fun. Every dance felt like a little celebration. At the same time, I could feel my photography getting better—framing the energy of the festival, catching genuine moments, and pushing myself with every shot.

By the end of the weekend, I was tired in the best way. The kind of tired that comes from dancing, laughing, creating, and just being fully present. It was the perfect first Brno experience, and definitely not the last.
